Estevan Fire Rescue has answered a number of calls over the past week, helping out with crashes, fire alarms, and more.

On September 8th, crews were dispatched to a motorcycle vs pedestrian incident at 5:45 p.m. On scene, crews found the persons involved were in the care of EMS and EFR assistance was not required. The Extent of injuries or damages to property is currently unknown.

The next day, September 9th, there was a commercial fire alarm which sent crews out to the northeast area of the city at 7:34 p.m. Crews investigated and found the alarm was due to a cooking issue. No fire was occurring, but crews remained on the scene to ventilate smoke from the building and reset the alarm system.

September 10th saw another fire alarm call, this time to a residential building in the Northeast area of the city. Crews found that the alarm was false and EFR assistance was not required.

A two-vehicle collision was reported on September 11th at 12:52 p.m., in the north central area of the city. Upon responding, crews found that the incident was minor in nature with no assistance required.

On September 14th at 12:48 p.m., crews were sent to a commercial fire alarm in the South-Central area of the city. They subsequently found no emergency occurring.  

Later that day at 8:50 p.m., EFR was dispatched to a commercial fire alarm in the Southeast area of the city. Crews responded and once again found no emergency occurring.
