The Town of Alix is inviting residents and visitors to celebrate the season at the first annual Harvest Hoedown, set for Saturday (September 20) at the Alix Lake Campground.

Festivities begin with Music in the Park from 2:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m., featuring live performances by John Carlyle and Larry Somerville.

From 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. guests can enjoy a hearty Harvest Supper for $15, which includes bangers, mashed potatoes, beets, corn on the cob, and carrot cake or ice cream for dessert.

The event will also welcome a special guest: Gord Humphrey, recently crowned World Champion Jet Boat Racer.

Proceeds from the Harvest Hoedown will go toward supporting the Music in the Park program.
