Portage la Prairie RCMP are searching for suspects after responding to three similar robberies within a two-week period.
On April 23, at approximately 10:05 pm, RCMP responded to a robbery on Oak Bay.
A delivery driver was on Oak Bay dropping off pizzas when he was approached by a man.
The man threatened the victim with a knife, stole the pizzas and fled on foot.
The victim, a 38-year-old man, was not physically injured.
The suspect is described as male, wearing dark clothing and a surgical mask.
Eight days later, on May 1, at approximately 7:50 pm, RCMP responded to a robbery on 10th Street NW.
A delivery driver was on 10th Street dropping off pizzas when he was approached by a man. The man threatened him with a machete, stole the pizzas and fled on foot.
The victim, a 40-year-old man, was not physically injured.
The suspect is described as an Indigenous male, 5’10, wearing jeans and a black hoody.
Then finally, two days later, on May 3, at approximately 10:20 pm, RCMP responded to a robbery on Wilkinson Crescent.
A delivery driver was on Wilkinson Crescent dropping off pizzas when he was approached by a man.
The man threatened him with a knife and demanded the keys to his vehicle.
The suspect took the pizzas and fled in the victim’s vehicle.
The 24-year-old male victim was not physically injured.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, shorter in stature with a clean-shaven face. He was wearing dark clothing, a hat, gloves and baggy pants.
The stolen vehicle is a white 2016 Honda Accord with a Manitoba licence plate KLD 198.
