Firefighters are mopping up following a fire at a home in Winnipeg's St. Vital neighbourhood.

Over a dozen units responded to the blaze, which occurred around 4 a.m. in the 200 block of Hazelwood Ave.

There is no word at this time on how or where the fire started or if there were any injuries, though neighbours at the scene tell CHVN they do not believe anyone was hurt.

By 4:30 a.m. several units had pulled back from the scene as others brought it under control. 

There is also no word on damage estimates at this time.
