Environment Canada warns of possible landspout tornadoes

A special weather statement has been issued for a broad swath of southern Manitoba, warning of conditions favourable for the development of funnel clouds on Sunday.

The alert applies to multiple regions, including Winnipeg, Portage la Prairie, Morden-Winkler, Steinbach, Selkirk-Gimli, and communities stretching east to the Whiteshell and north to Fisher River and Hecla.
