The Portage Terriers are acquiring a veteran from the SJHL.
The Dogs have shipped out the CJHL rights to forward Rhys Raeside, along with future considerations, to the Flin Flon Bombers in exchange for forward Kaden Kohle.
Kohle is in his senior season at the junior level and had one point in seven games with the Bombers this season. The forward spent the last four years in the WHL with both the Tri-City Americans and Vancouver Giants. He put up a total of 16 points throughout his WHL career.
Raeside has yet to play a game this season but put up seven points in eight games with the Terriers in the 2020-21 season that was ultimately cut short due to COVID-19. The 19-year-old also had two stints in the WHL with the Winnipeg Ice and Lethbridge Hurricanes.
