Giant Tiger is recalling thousands of clothing items due to the presence of mold.
The recall involves Giant Tiger brands sleepwear, including Monkey Bars, Bella & Birdie, Mountain Ridge, Survival Gear, and Carisma, as well as Men’s Sherpa Robes, Pajar Ski Pants and Men’s Ski Pants.
A Health Canada Recalls and Safety Alert says the recalled products may contain mold.
The affected sleepwear and robes were sold from October 2022 to November 2022. The affected Pajar Ski Pants were sold from August 2022 to November 2022 and the affected Men’s Ski Pants were sold in December 2022.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to Giant Tiger for a refund.
The company reported that 4511, 970, 637 and 1675 units of the affected sleepwear, robes, Pajar ski pants and men’s ski pants, respectively, were sold in Canada.
As of December 21, 2022, the company has received no reports of incident and no reports of injury in Canada.
The affected sleepwear and men’s ski pants were manufactured in Bangladesh. The affected robes and Pajar ski pants were manufactured in China.
