Czechia is moving on to the semifinals at the World Para Ice Hockey Championship at the Moose Jaw Events Centre. 

Czechia picked up a 4-0 win over Italy in the first quarter-final on Friday afternoon. After a scoreless first period, Czechia scored three in the second and one in the third.

Scoring for Czechia was Zdenek Habl, Pavel Kubes, Michal Geier and Radek Zelinka.

Canada plays Czechia in the Semifinal tomorrow night at 7 p.m.

China advanced to the Semifinals with following a 7-2 win over Korea.

China’s Yu Tau Cui opened up scoring and Hong Guan Li scored two to help propel China to the victory.

China now faces off against Team USA in Semifinal action tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Events Centre.

Both Team China and Team USA are undefeated.
