Carl Roy Lawless passed away on June 1st, 2023 at the South Calgary Health Campus. Carl was born on July 13th, 1942 in Brockville, Ontario. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret in 2006. He is survived by his stepson Ron Lightle of Calgary, Alberta and his cousins Lois Keys and Jean Sloan.
Carl served in the military from 1962 to 1982 when he retired in Calgary . After retirement Carl traveled across Canada teaching courses for the Canada Training Group.
Carl was an avid bridge player with his wife Margaret (Maggie). They won the Midwestern Team Championship in Fargo North Dakota in 1972 and the Canadian Masters Pairs in Toronto in 1973. They were both Life Masters in ACBL.
A graveside service will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Swift Current, SK on June 9th, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
