A Manitoba woman suspected of abducting her 3-year-old daughter has been located and arrested.
On Tuesday, police arrested 35-year-old Holly Malleck at a residence in the City of Waterloo, Ontario. She was charged with Parental Abduction.
Her daughter, Amelia Deonaraine, was unharmed and is now in the care of another family member.
Police say they were found thanks to a tip from the public.
Last Friday, St. Pierre RCMP requested assistance from the public in locating Malleck and her 3-year-old daughter.
Over the weekend, the Stratford Police Service received information that Malleck and Deonaraine could be in the City of Stratford.
They posted a message on their Twitter account asking anyone who had seen them or had information on their whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers.
