Early Saturday morning (August 12) at approximately 12:35 am, Morris RCMP, along with officers from Emerson and St-Pierre-Jolys, responded to a residence in the RM of Morris, on a report that a 32-year-old male had shot a 65-year-old female and wounded a 59-year-old male.
It was also reported that the 32-year-old male had shot himself.
Officers attended the scene and located the 32-year-old male and the 65-year-old female deceased in the residence.
The 59-year-old male was treated on scene for non-life-threatening injuries.
There is a familial connection between all three individuals involved.
RCMP are not searching for any other suspects.
Morris RCMP, along with Major Crime Services and RCMP Forensic Identification Services, continue to investigate.
