At the Humboldt Hammerheads awards night, coach Leisl Lefebvre expressed gratitude towards the parents for their unwavering support, from driving swimmers to practices to cheering at meets. The swimmers were also commended for their dedication and willingness to try new races, highlighting the unique balance between individual pursuits and team spirit in speed swimming.

Lefebvre gave special recognition to the Junior coaches for their foundational work with the youngest swimmers, which forms the backbone of the club's growth. Lefebvre extended appreciation to Hailey Schick for her valuable time spent as a parent on deck and the hope for her continued involvement as a coach in the future.

Lefebvre emphasized the club's coaching philosophy of mastering all four strokes and successfully swimming an IM (Individual Medley), citing Emma Michel and Taylor Possberg as commendable examples who achieved this goal at provincials.

The awards ceremony included the presentation of trophies based on the points generated by each swimmer throughout the year. The competition for the hi point awards was tight, showcasing the increasing strength and speed of the team, with both winners and runners-up being acknowledged for their outstanding achievements.
