Cochrane is now reporting seven active COVID-19 cases
The COVID-19 numbers are in from over the weekend:
Friday, July 2 saw 42 new cases
Saturday, July 3 recorded 53 new cases
Sunday, July 4 saw 44 new cases.
The average positivity rate is at 1.1%.
The number of active cases in the province has dropped below the 1000 mark to 831.
There are 136 people in the hospital while 32 of those are in ICU.
To date, 73.4% of the Albertans 12 and older have received one dose of COVID vaccine, and 48.4% of the provincial population is now fully immunized.

Province giving weekend COVID-19 update
Over the past three days, there are 177 new COVID-19 cases in Manitoba.
Of the 65 cases reported today, the COVID-19 data shows:
• nine new cases in the Interlake-Eastern health region;
• five new cases in the Northern health region;
• 11 new cases in the Prairie Mountain Health region;
• five new cases in the Southern Health–Santé Sud health region; and
• 35 new cases in the Winnipeg health region.
COVID-19 vaccine supersites switching focus to walk-ins this week
Manitoba is on the cusp of reaching its August Long Weekend vaccination goals.
As of Monday morning, 74.8 percent of Manitobans have received their first COVID-19 vaccine, and 50.2 per cent have received their second. Manitoba has reached its August second dose target but is 0.2 per cent away from reaching the first dose target. Manitoba is set to exceed August COVID-19 vaccine goals by Tuesday.
July 5: One case of COVID-19 reported
The Northwestern Health Unit has reported one new case of COVID-19 in the Sioux Lookout region.
There are currently five active cases of COVID-19 in the region. There are two cases in each of the Kenora region and District of Rainy River and one case in the Sioux Lookout region.
LTC Homes restrictions ease this week
In line with Ontario's reopening plan, the provincial government has announced the easing of restrictions in Long-Term Care Homes to allow residents a greater quality of life and the ability to reconnect with loved ones. The eased restrictions will take effect on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.

Cremona to host pop-up COVID immunization clinic
AHS is offering a first dose drop-in COVID-19 immunization clinic in Cremona next week.
That means that you will not be required to make an appointment to get your first dose of the COVID-19 immunization.
The pop-up clinic will be held at the Cremona Community Hall (302 Centre Street) on Wednesday, July 7 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A pop-up clinic will also be held in High River at the Highwood Memorial Centre (128 5 Ave SW) on Thursday, July 8 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
