Update: Emergency crews responding to collision near Crossfield industrial area

A previous collision near Crossfield has been cleared.

Earlier this morning, multiple emergency crews were reported responding to what appeared to be a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 2A near the entrance to the Crossfield Industrial area at McCool Crescent.

According to witness reports, the vehicle involved was on its side, and the local fire department was managing the situation. Witnesses also reported seeing emergency vehicles heading north from Airdrie toward the site.

Rocky View Schools is rolling out WheresTheBus, a real-time bus tracking app designed to provide parents, guardians and schools with accurate, up-to-date information on school bus locations and arrival times.

WheresTheBus is a free, secure tool that tracks and reports real-time data using GPS and tablets installed on school buses. The information is transmitted to the WheresTheBus Parent App, which can be accessed on smartphones, tablets, or computers.

Municipal enforcement seeks information after Crossfield dog park incident

Crossfield's Municipal Enforcement Department is asking for the community's help after a dog attack at the town's dog park on Western Drive.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, Jan. 8, around 1:15 p.m., and involved two medium-sized dogs—one black and one white. One of the dogs reportedly attacked a member of the public.
