Rush drop game three heartbreaker in Buffalo
The Saskatchewan Rush fell 15-6 against the Buffalo Bandits in game three of the 2025 NLL Finals, dropping the championship series 2-1.
Saskatchewan got two goals from Austin Shanks and one from Zach Manns in the first quarter, sitting level at 3-3 after 15 minutes.
Robert Church scored twice in the 2nd and Ryan Keenan found the back of the net, cutting the deficit to 7-6 at the half.
Buffalo’s offence exploded for eight goals in the second half which ended up being the difference maker as the Bandits won their third straight NLL Finals.
Shanks hat trick forces game three in NLL Finals
The Saskatchewan Rush forced a game three in the 2025 NLL Finals after a thrilling 11-10 win over the Buffalo Bandits on Co-op Field.
In the first quarter, Jake Boudreau opened the scoring, followed by goals from Austin Shanks and Ryan Keenan as the Rush jumped out to a 3-1 lead.
Buffalo battled back in the second, but it was Keenan, Boudreau and Zach Manns who found twine as the two heavyweights sat tied 6-6 at recess.
Clark Walter and rookie Brock Haley scored in the third quarter, but it was the road side up 9-8 heading into the final frame.
Shanks explodes in Saskatchewan’s game one win
The Saskatchewan Rush picked up a 16-7 win over the Halifax Thunderbirds in game one of the second round in the 2025 NLL Playoffs.
Clark Walter opened the scoring followed by goals from Zach Manns and Robert Church, but it was Austin Shanks who stole the show with a first quarter hat trick, putting the Rush up 6-3.
Matt Hossack scored Saskatchewan’s lone goal in the second quarter, taking a 7-4 lead into half.
Ryan Keenan, Mike Messenger and Shanks (x3) buried goals in the third quarter, giving the Rush a 12-5 lead on enemy territory.
Boudreau scores four as Rush sting Swarm in playoff opener
The Saskatchewan Rush picked up a 13-9 win over the Georgia Swarm in round one, advancing to the National Lacrosse League semifinals.
On Co-op Field, it was the visitors who jumped out to a 2-0 lead, but Saskatchewan clawed their way back thanks to goals from Austin Shanks, Jake Boudreau, Zach Manns and Ryan Keenan.
In the second quarter, Clark Walter and Mike Messenger found the back of the net, putting Saskatchewan up 6-3 at the half.
Shanks and Walter all found the back of the net in the third frame, holding the league steady at 8-6.

Rush run over Rochester for eighth win of the season
The Saskatchewan Rush ran over the Rochester Knighthawks 17-9 on Co-op Field Saturday night.
Rochester opened the scoring, coming out firing with a 5-3 lead after the first quarter. Zach Manns, Mike Triolo and Robert Church found the back of the net.
Clark Walter went off in the second quarter, scoring a hat trick while Austin Shanks, Matt Hossack and Keegan Bell kept the offence rolling as Saskatchewan went up 9-6 at the half.
Shanks, Church and Manns provided the spark in the third quarter, putting the Rush up 13-8 heading into the fourth quarter.
