Saskatchewan Rush

Saskatoon, SK - The Saskatchewan Rush rolled into Ball Arena, leaving with an 11-6 win over the Colorado Mammoth on Sunday, April 13th. 

Jake Boudreau and Ryan Keenan responded to Colorado's goals in the opening frame, leaving the game tied at 2-2 after 15 minutes of play. 

Austin Shanks scored twice in the second quarter and Levi Anderson added another as Saskatchewan led 5-2 at the break. 

Shanks kept the hot stick rolling with a pair of goals in the third, plus Robert Church, Zach Manns and Keenan added singles in the quarter. 

The Saskatchewan Rush dropped a 9-7 decision to the Buffalo Bandits on Co-op Field. 

Zach Manns would score twice in the opening quarter and Josh Zawada plus Mike Triolo found the back of the net as the home team jumped out to a 4-2 lead. 

Manns would cap off the hat trick in the second quarter, putting Saskatchewan up 5-3 at half. 

Tehoka Nanticoke scored twice in the third quarter for the Bandits, helping drive the visitors into a 6-5 lead. 

The Saskatchewan Rush dropped a 9-7 decision to the Buffalo Bandits on Co-op Field.

For the fifth time this season, the opponents opened the scoring, but the Rush would get three in the first quarter, two from Brock Haley and one from Austin Shanks. 

Mike Triolo and Clark Walter would score in the second frame, putting Saskatchewan up 5-4 at half time. 

Ryan Keenan got the offence rolling in the third, while Robert Church, Shanks and Walter added some cushion with a 9-4 lead going into the final quarter.

The Saskatchewan Rush ran over the Rochester Knighthawks 17-9 on Co-op Field Saturday night.

Rochester opened the scoring, coming out firing with a 5-3 lead after the first quarter. Zach Manns, Mike Triolo and Robert Church found the back of the net. 

Clark Walter went off in the second quarter, scoring a hat trick while Austin Shanks, Matt Hossack and Keegan Bell kept the offence rolling as Saskatchewan went up 9-6 at the half. 

Shanks, Church and Manns provided the spark in the third quarter, putting the Rush up 13-8 heading into the fourth quarter. 

Despite trailing at the half, the Saskatchewan Rush pulled off a 16-13 win against the Calgary Roughnecks on Friday night in the Saddledome.

Ryan Keenan opened the scoring followed up by Mike Messenger in the first quarter as the Rush jumped out to a 4-3 lead. Adam Jay and Austin Shanks found the back of the net in the first frame also. 

Shanks, Keenan and Zach Manns buried in the second half, but Saskatchewan felt themselves down 9-7 at the half.

The Saskatchewan Rush (6-2) and Calgary Roughnecks (5-3) will meet up at Scotiabank Saddledome on Friday, February 14th.

The 6'8 forward scored three goals on his first three shots of the game, locking in a natural hat trick in the opening five minutes. Zach Manns would add another in the quarter, putting the Rush up 4-0.

In the second, Austin Shanks, Levi Anderson and Robert Church all found twine and Thomas Kiazyk made 19 straight saves as the Rush led 7-0 at half.
