The Saskatchewan Rush stifled the Vancouver Warriors defence in a 10-7 win inside Rogers Arena.

For the fifth time this season, the opponents opened the scoring, but the Rush would get three in the first quarter, two from Brock Haley and one from Austin Shanks.

Mike Triolo and Clark Walter would score in the second frame, putting Saskatchewan up 5-4 at half time.

Ryan Keenan got the offence rolling in the third, while Robert Church, Shanks and Walter added some cushion with a 9-4 lead going into the final quarter.

Church buried his second of the night to start the fourth quarter and the defence held on, picking up the 10-7 win on the west coast.

Frank Scigliano made 31 saves in the win, while Jake Naso returned from injury to win nine faceoffs on the evening.

The Saskatchewan Rush are back on Co-op Field in a  week when the Buffalo Bandits come to SaskTel Centre for a 7:00PM start on Saturday, March 1st. Tickets for Marvel Super Hero Night can be purchased here.

The next broadcast on Magic 97.1 FM is on March 8 when the Rush visit the Georgia Swarm.
