The Niagara River Lions have won the CEBL Championship and for two players, it was sweeter than other victories as the Lufile brothers won together.

Meshack and Elijah Lufile and the rest of the River Lions defeated the Calgary Surge at Winnipeg's Canada Life Centre on Sunday night and are giving all glory to God.

A Christian motorcycle club known for its street-level ministry and prayer work is pushing back against what it calls a serious mischaracterization.

It comes after a member was ordered to remove his vest by a Winnipeg police officer who allegedly dismissed the group as a criminal front.

Providence University College and Theological Seminary have an entire weekend of events planned to celebrate 100 years of higher Christian education. 

"This is going to be a school year like no other for us," says Ron Hogue, Vice President of Advancement at Providence. "It's our centennial year this year. Our welcome week, which is typically welcoming back returning students and new students, it's going to be exciting. The week is full of special events to help settle students in the rhythm of a new school year."

Chynna Phillips Baldwin from the '90s pop band Wilson Phillips recently opened up about her time dabbling in witchcraft and how she came to put all her trust in God. 

Phillips Baldwin was recently interviewed on the Ex-Psychic Saved Podcast with Jenn Nizza, titled "Escaping the Deception of the New Age and Finding Her Identity in Christ; Her Powerful Testimony of Deliverance and Redemption."

The former pop singer opened up about her encounters with the occult, her struggles with addiction and how she came to faith in Jesus. 

After the miraculous healing of Forrest Frank's broken back and the hit song that came from it, many parody videos popped up. Two of those were made by Christian artists Matthew West and Cory Asbury, who have since apologized to Frank. 

Investigators remained on the scene Thursday at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, one day after a shooter opened fire during a back-to-school Mass with students from the attached school, killing two children and injuring 17 others.

Church and school officials say the campus will remain closed while police complete their work and support services are put in place for students, staff and families.

The guitarist of the Christian rock band Kutless, James Mead, is slowly healing after he had a stroke in July. 

"I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who has supported me and my family since my stroke on July 26th," says Kutless on social media. "Your generosity, kindness, and encouragement have meant the world to us - we truly wouldn't be where we are without you."

Mead has been on the road to recovery, which includes many new routines and exercises. 

A shooter opened fire during Mass on the third day of school at Annunciation Catholic School in Minnesota, killing two children and injuring several more. 

Students were sitting in the school's chapel when the assailant fired through the window and then officers say, the shooter committed suicide. 

A Winnipeg parkade is set to play host to a powerful evening of worship and prayer this weekend.

Testimony Olumade is on the ANAN Experience team and says the ministry was formed after a December 2023 prayer walk. "As I was walking, I experienced a lot to stop me in my tracks. And in a quick vision, I saw Winnipeg and the crowd worshiping," Olumade said. "It was a lot of people worshiping and proclaiming the name of Jesus. Right there, I heard the Lord tell me, 'Yes, this is My vision for the city. The church will be united and the name of Jesus proclaimed in the city.'"

Famous country star Wynona Judd's daughter, Grace Kelley, had her whole life turned around after she encountered the love of God last year. 

Kelley has had a traumatic past filled with drugs, addiction, abuse, and jail time. 

"This is the first time in my life that I’ve genuinely been at peace," says Kelley to PEOPLE Magazine in an exclusive interview.
