Sports Update - Terriers know who they will meet in round 2 and more
The Portage Terriers will take on the Virden Oil Capitals in round two of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League playoffs. Kobe Grant made 25 saves as the Swan Valley Stampeders downed the Kings 4-1 in Dauphin and took that West Division semifinal in six games Tuesday night. With Swan Valley advancing, this means Virden is the lowest seed remaining in the hunt for the Turnbull Cup. Teams are reseeded in the second round of the playoffs so the top seeded Terriers draw Oil Caps for the league semi-final.
