Reuben MacDonald
MacDonald, Reuben age 91, of Swift Current, Saskatchewan passed away on March 24, 2025 at Cypress House. The graveside service was held at 2:00 pm, on Thursday April 10, 2025 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Swift Current, with Pastor Patti Sherk officiating.
Reuben is survived by; Brothers Charlie (Annabelle) Hazzard and Bill (Dorothy) Hazzard of Medicine Hat, Alberta, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lynn Joyce (Samletzki) Bacon
Our family Matriarch, Lynn Joyce (Samletzki) Bacon, passed away early Friday, April 4th at Cypress Regional Hospital, setting free a loving spirit. Our family wishes to thank the medical professionals who provided care and treatment to comfort Lynn during her illness. To those who knew Lynn, she would want you to remember her at the dinners, coffees, girls weekends and happy hours laughing and sharing friendships. A celebration of life will be held in the future, for all to remember her.
Betty Lou (nee Shook) (Armstrong) Smith
We are saddened to announce the passing of our mom, Betty Lou (nee Shook) (Armstrong) Smith of Swift Current on March 30, 2025 at the age of 96.
Betty Lou is survived by her daughter Shanon (Ron Kesslar) of Medicine Hat, son Bob (Sharon Lang) of Swift Current, daughter-in-law Angela Armstrong of Regina, step-daughter-in-law Carol Moen of Swift Current, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty Lou was predeceased by husband, Les Armstrong in 1982, son Jim Armstrong in 2003, step-daughter Colleen Smith in 2011, husband Jerry Smith in 2019, and step-son Gord Smith in 2023.
Dennis Dale Roosen
Dennis was born December 4, 1942 in Swift Current to Wilhelm and Irma Roosen. He attended school at Stone Cliff, Golden Sheath, Kemmel Hill and Gull Lake. At age 16 he went to work for Ashphalt Services Ltd. of Saskatoon. In 1975, along with 3 partners, they bought the Swift Current branch and changed the name to Mobile Paving Ltd. Dennis retired in 2009 after 50 years. On February 18, 1967 he married the love of his life Linda (Sue) Peterson. Their daughter Rhonda was born in 1969, and their son Ryan was born in 1973.
Leonard James Spate
It is with great sadness the family of Leonard James Spate announce his passing.
He passed away peacefully on March 26th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones, at the Herbert and District Integrated Health Facility.
At Leonard’s request, no formal service will be held at this time.

It is with heavy hearts the family of Mr. Clark Campbell announce his sudden passing. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from the Innovation Plex (North Entrance) in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Please wear your favorite jersey as Clark was an avid sports fan.

Mrs. Leona Orlanda Nein
Mrs. Leona Orlanda Nein (nee Buhr) passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan at the age of 88. Leona left us peacefully in her sleep with her loving husband of 62 years, Ed, at her side. She was born on September 18, 1936 in Herbert, Saskatchewan, twin to Leander. Mom will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
We express our gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Cypress House, where Leona lived in recent years. At Leona’s request, no formal service will be held.
