Two arrested as part of ongoing drug investigation by Morden Police Service
One person has been charged and another is facing similar charges, following an ongoing drug investigation by Morden Police Service. The pair was arrested Thursday as part of the investigation.
Motorcyclist taken to hospital after incident south of Plum Coulee
A motorcyclist suffered non-life-threatening injuries after an incident yesterday south of Plum Coulee on Provincial Road 306.
Pembina Valley RCMP as well as members of the Plum Coulee Fire Department responded to the call.
According to emergency officials, the motorcycle lost control and left the road, ending up in a nearby corn field. The driver was taken to hospital.
Morden Police issue warrant for arrest, several tickets and pull over impaired drivers
On October 12th, Morden Police issued a warrant of arrest for 40-year-old Bryan Roger Delorme for failing to attend Morden Police Service for identification on October 11th, 2022.
Meantime, officers arrested a man after attempting to pull over a suspicious vehicle.

Graffiti prompts Winkler Police investigation and presence at city school today
The Winkler Police Service had a presence at one of the city's schools today.
In a brief statement, Chief Ryan Hunt said officers were posted at Emerado Centennial School for the day out of an abundance of caution following what he said was a vague threat brought to their attention last Thursday. The message, found written on school property, specifically mentioned today's date.
In an update sent to PembinaValleyOnline, Chief Hunt reported the day ended without incident.
Arson suspected in bridge blaze northeast of Rosenfeld
Altona and Rhineland Emergency Services (ARES) responded to a road bridge fire Tuesday afternoon. At 1:48 PM, ARES responded to the call northeast of Rosenfeld. There were no injuries, however the bridge was a total loss.
Chief Greg Zimmerman says fire fighters were able to extinguish 85 per cent of blaze in the first few minutes, thanks to the department’s new foam truck. However, by the time crews could get around to the other end of the bridge, it had burned too far, and the structure collapsed.
Morden man charged after hit and run with pedestrian
A 29-year-old Morden man is facing charges after a hit and run incident in Winkler September 18th.
Winkler Police and paramedics responded that afternoon around 2:35 p.m. to the corner of Townsend Drive and Roblin Boulevard.
The investigation revealed a 3-year-old girl riding a scooter had left the sidewalk on Roblin to cross the street at the intersection, and was struck by a green Subaru Forester that made what appeared to be an unexpected left turn onto Townsend Drive from Roblin.
No injuries in early morning rollover south of Altona
No one was injured following an early morning vehicle rollover south of Altona on Friday.
RCMP responded to the single-vehicle incident around 6:40 a.m. on Highway 30 near the intersection with PR 421.
According to RCMP, the vehicle was travelling south from Altona to Gretna along Highway 30 when it went into the ditch and rolled onto its side.
The driver, a 58-year-old man from Gretna, was not injured.
Alcohol and drugs were not factors in the collision.
Male dies in rural collision northwest of Vita
A 22 year old male from the R.M. of Stuartburn has died in a single vehicle incident.
Thursday morning, just before 10am, Emerson RCMP, fire department and emergency medical services responded to a report of a vehicle submerged in a ditch in the municipality.
The vehicle was located in a ditch northwest of Vita.
A lone male was found in the vehicle, and pronounced deceased at the scene.
It’s believed sometime overnight the vehicle was travelling south on Road 38 East when it turned onto Road 10 North, went into the ditch and rolled.
