A. I am running for Council to continue to be a voice in the city for the citizens. I have always believed in leading from the front if you want to be a leader.

A. I’m running to ensure accountability and appropriate stewardship of the revenue entrusted to us by our citizens. My focus is on long-term infrastructure planning and exploring alternative revenue streams instead of raising taxes. Moose Jaw needs a forward-thinking approach that fosters sustainable growth and community-driven solutions. I’m passionate about creating a future where we invest wisely in the city’s needs, while also being transparent and responsive to the citizens we serve.

Survey finds most Canadian parents expect to support adult children amid financial worries
A new survey by TD Bank Group reveals that nearly three in five Canadian parents (57 percent) anticipate financially supporting their children into adulthood, yet the majority (61 percent) are uncertain about their ability to do so. The survey highlights growing concerns among parents about their children’s future in an increasingly costly economy, where seven in ten believe their children will face greater financial challenges than they did.
Final crop report of the year shows Saskatchewan has seen yields improve this year
The Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture released its final crop report of the year, summing up the final week from October 15 to 21.
As of now, producers across Saskatchewan have finished up the harvest with 100 per cent of the crop in the bin.
Early into the season in May and June, many areas received above-average rainfall which could have led to a later harvest. However, hot and dry conditions caused crops to rapidly mature which caused harvest to take place earlier than expected.

Human trafficking investigation in Dundurn leads to multiple charges for Quebec man
A 51-year-old man from Quebec is facing several charges from a human trafficking investigation that began in Dundurn conducted by Saskatchewan RCMP’s Human Trafficking and Counter Exploitation Unit (HTCEU), part of the Saskatchewan Enforcement Response Teams (SERT), and Saskatoon RCMP Detachment.
On Wednesday, October 23, Saskatoon RCMP were dispatched to a business on a report of a kidnapping.
