She was predeceased by her parents, Reginald and Hazel Eddy; step-father, Ivan Churchill; her husband, Herb Ernst; her grandson, Dane Ernst; sister, Myrna Oxelgren; nieces, Doreen Shorthouse and Shannon Mack; nephew, Caleb Bush; sister-in-law, Margaret Fuhro; brother-in-laws, Al Lacell, William Shorthouse, Albert Ernst, Ed Fuhro and Dennis Hone.

The funeral service for Helen Reddekop will be held Friday, May 23rd at 5pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with burial at Heritage Cemetery.

Douglas Mathew Bryan, an admirable and outspoken original, passed away on May 15, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Doug was born on December 29, 1931, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, to parents Bert and Ruby Bryan. He grew up on a family homestead near Bridgeford, Saskatchewan, with his brother Alfred and sister Helen. Doug was a first-generation Canadian born to English and Scottish immigrants who fled poverty in the Old World to pursue a better life for their family.

Henheffer, Edward H.

Edward H. Henheffer, late of Weyburn, SK passed away on May 16, 2025 at the age of 75 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Eunice Henheffer; sister-in-law, Rebecca Friesen; niece, Lorilie Henheffer; brother, Douglas J. Henheffer; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
