Funeral For:  Inge Froese 
Funeral Date: August 6, 2024 
Inge Froese, 71, of Steinbach formerly of Grunthal, passed away Friday, August 2nd at her residence. She is survived by her husband Herman, 3 daughters, 1 son, 2 brothers, and their families. 
The funeral service for Inge Froese will be held Tuesday, August 6th at 2pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with burial at Grunthal Cemetery. 
Come and go viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel Monday, August 5th from 7 to 8pm and prior to the funeral service. 

Memorial For: Reynold (Rey) Schellenberg 
Memorial Date: August 8, 2024 
Reynold (Rey) Schellenberg, 86, of Altona formerly of Winnipeg and Belair, passed away Wednesday, July 31st at Heritage Life Personal Care Home, Niverville. He is survived by his wife Shirley, 1 daughter, 2 sons, 2 sisters, 1 brother and their families. He was predeceased by 2 sisters and 1 brother. 
A memorial service for Reynold (Rey) Schellenberg will be held Thursday, August 8th at 2pm at Altona Senior Centre with burial prior to the service at 1pm at Altona Cemetery. 

Funeral For: Hilda Wiebe 
Funeral Date: August 7, 2024 
Hilda Wiebe, 87, of Altona passed away Thursday, August 1st at Eastview Place. She is survived by her husband David N Wiebe, 2 daughters, 1 son and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.  
The funeral service for Hilda Wiebe will be held Wednesday, August 7th at 2pm at Altona Bergthaler Mennonite Church with burial at Altona Cemetery. 
Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home, Altona Tuesday, August 6th from 1 to 7pm and at the church prior to the service. 

Funeral For:  Shirley Plett 
Funeral Date: August 5, 2024 
Shirley Plett, 88, of Steinbach passed away Wednesday, July 31st at her residence. She is survived by 3 daughters, 3 sons, 2 sisters-in-law and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Richard, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers. 
The funeral service for Shirley Plett will be held Monday, August 5th at 2pm at Morweena Evangelical Mennonite Church at Morweena, with burial at the church cemetery. 
Viewing will be at the church prior to the service.  

Robert Douglas Richards

December 8, 1937 – July 20, 2024

Bob peacefully passed away at the Dr. F. H. Wigmore Regional Hospital with family at his side.

Bob and his cousin, Anne Thompson, grew up with their grandparents, W. H. “Harry” Richards and Mary Jane “Minnie” Gray, in Harriston, Ontario. They instilled honesty and generosity in both children.

(Hazel) Donelda Thompson

June 16, 1920-June 11, 2024

Donelda was born and raised on her family's farm near Riverhurst, Saskatchewan, the only daughter of Addison and Lena (Sinclair) Dean. After graduating high school, she attended Normal School and taught in several country schools near Mortlach, Saskatchewan. It was there that she met and married her husband, Harvey Thompson. They moved to Moose Jaw and added to their family, a son Wayne and a daughter Barbara.

Anna Margaret Maki, late of Weyburn, SK passed away on July 30, 2024 at the age of 99 years.

A Private Family Interment will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK.

For family and friends so wishing, charitable donations in memory of Anna may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, Unit #26, 1738 Quebec Avenue, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1V9.

BELLAVANCE, ELCEY, STELLA, late of Radville, Saskatchewan, born September 16, 1920, left this world on July 31, 2024 at the age of 103 years. At the request of Elcey and her family, cremation will take place and a “Private Family Service” will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Elcey may be made to the Radville Marian Health Centre Auxiliary at Box 459, Radville, Saskatchewan, S0C 2G0.
