She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Violet DeRoose; her brother, Ron DeRoose and her mother-in law, June Cull.

Sheila Marie Burton (Karg) age 70 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 15, 2025 at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

The Celebration of Life will take place on July 5, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Stephens Anglican Church with Chaplain Bob Cappelle officiating. A time of fellowship will take place in the St. Stephens Anglican Hall immediately following the service.

TIMOTHY ALAN VASS  

September 14th, 1986 – June 14th, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Timothy Alan Vass on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, at the age of 38 years.  Born and raised in Pangman, SK, Timothy carried with him a deep connection to nature and the values instilled by small-town life. 

Matthijs “Martin” Jan Schimmel
 

Peacefully, on June 13, 2025, Matthijs ‘Martin’ Jan Schimmel passed from this earth to join his son Arie and grandsons Ethan and Daniel.

Our Family was blessed to be able to spend Martin’s last days by his side, listening to his favourite music while reminiscing and laughing about times gone by. We’re pretty sure Martin was listening to the shenanigans-smiling as always!

Bill L. Rempel, 95, of Steinbach formerly of Rosenort, passed away Tuesday, June 17th at Maplewood Manor. He is survived by 3 daughters, 7 sons, and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Janet and 1 daughter. 
The funeral service for Bill L. Rempel will be held Monday, June 23rd at 11am at Rosenort Church of God in Christ, Mennonite with burial at the church cemetery.

Funeral Date: June 23, 2025 
Yadwiga Nadia Dyck, 92, of Steinbach passed away Thursday, June 12th at Rest Haven Care Home. She is survived by 3 daughters, 1 son, 8 grandchildren, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, 3 sisters-in-law, 4 brothers-in-law, and their families.  
The funeral service for Yadwiga Nadia Dyck will be held Monday, June 23rd at 11am at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with burial at Grunthal Cemetery. 
Viewing will be at the chapel prior to the service. 
Donations may be made to MCC Ukrainian Crisis Response. 

With broken hearts the family of Heather Corey are deeply saddened to announce her passing. In keeping with Heather’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
