Henry Barbier

January 18, 1939 - June 15, 2025

It is with heavy hearts the family of Henry Barbier announces his passing on June 15, 2025 at the age of 86.

Henry had a short but courageous battle with cancer that lasted officially 2 1/2 weeks.  Ultimately, Henry spent his final hours with family and friends and passed with dignity in the embrace of his wife, Patricia.

Henry wore many hats during his lifetime. He was an amazing farmer, an auctioneer and pilot. He loved fixing things and solving problems.  He was also a man of great faith.

Annette Egland

The Celebration of Life Service for the late Annette Egland of Calgary and formerly of Eastend will be held on Saturday, June 21st at 2:00 p.m. from Eastend United Church in Eastend. Ida Mae Bryant

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life so richly lived, we announce the passing of Ida Mae Bryant (née: Wilson), who left us peacefully on Thursday, June 5th, 2025, at the age of 84 years.  A woman whose humour and presence could brighten any room, Ida Mae left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Lorine Hiebert, 92, of Rosenort passed away Friday, June 13th at Boundary Trails Health Centre. She is survived by 3 daughters, 3 sons, 1 sister, and their families. She was predeceased by her husband, 1 brother, 1 brother-in-law, and 4 great-grandchildren. 
The funeral service for Lorine Hiebert will be held Wednesday, June 18th at 10:30am at Rosenort Church of God in Christ Mennonite with burial at the church cemetery.

Mrs. Hazel Philp

It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Hazel Marie Philp mourns her peaceful passing at the age of 98 years.

Born in Cabri hospital in 1927 to Oscar and Mildred (Olson) Peterson. Hazel’s childhood was spent in the companionship of two wonderful sisters living in the Cabri and Pennant area. After completing grade twelve Hazel attended secretarial school in Swift Current. Afterward, she found employment in the office at the local horse plant.

Doris Cline

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doris Cline, who left us peacefully on May 26, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on December 25, 1943, Doris was a lifelong resident of Moose Jaw, SK, where she built a life rich in family and community.

Doris was the beloved wife of the late Dale Cline. She was also predeceased by her infant son, Stephen, and brothers, John (Alice) and Ken.

Harvey Alvin Johnson, late of Weyburn, SK passed away on June 12, 2025 at the age of 83 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Alma Johnson; wife, Charmane; daughter,
Wendy Johnson; in-laws, Edward and Rose (Catherine) Thompson; his 7 brothers and 5 sisters.

Kopp, Edward Conrad

Edward Conrad Kopp passed away on June 12, 2025 at the age of 84 years.

Edward was predeceased by his parents, Magnus and Mary Kopp; wife, Regina Kopp; infant son, Reginald Kopp; brothers, Balzar “Bud” (Violet) Kopp, Raymond Kopp, Joseph “Joe” Kopp; sister, Margorie Kopp, and his in-laws, Frank and Barbara Kramer.
