Charles Cuthbert passed away with family by his side on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at the Arcola Health Centre, Arcola, SK at the age of 84 years.
Charles was the United Church Minister at Whitebear First Nation from 1968-1969.


A Traditional Feast will be held at the Kisby Rec Centre on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 12:30 p.m.

Wade Loyal Lohse, late of Beaubier, SK passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 71 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Mabel “Peggy” Lohse; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Deborah Jean Fleck

Deborah Jean Fleck was born in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan on July 22, 1963, to Robert and Nina Cumpstone. They moved to Aneroid, Saskatchewan shortly afterwards to live with Deborah’s brother Douglas and grandparents Otto and Ethel Ruehs. A few years later they moved to Swift Current with Deborah’s stepfather Stan Fleck. Deborah went to school at Ashley Park and O. M. Irwin Schools. She volunteered at the Saskatchewan Abilities Council and was involved in getting Special Olympics started in Swift Current.

Wahkia Ewalk, late of Saskatoon, SK passed away in Regina, SK on Friday, May 30, 2025 at the age of 22 years.


The Traditional Wake will take place at the Ocean Man First Nation Band Hall on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Traditional Feast and Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m with Theodore Bison officiating. Burial to follow at the Ocean Man First Nation Cemetery.

Shirley Marie Wilson

It is with heart felt sadness we announce the passing of Shirley Marie Wilson on Monday, June 2nd, 2025, with her children by her side.  Shirley was the third child born to Bessie and Harold Radford on October 5th, 1930, in Toronto, Ontario.

Verna Gayleen Turner

Verna Gayleen Turner, late of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, passed away after a battle with cancer on May 30, 2025, accompanied by family as she wished. Gayleen was the first child of her parents, Lorne Turner, and Doreen Turner (nee Bredin), and the first grandchild in both the Bredin and Turner families. Predeceased by both parents and her brother, Brian Turner, she is survived by her two daughters, Adrienne Banning with her children Jackson and Blake, and Andrea Rogoschewsky with her husband Doug Rogoschewsky and their children Peyton and Emmett, by her sister Sr.

The funeral service for Isaac Dueck will be held Saturday, June 7th at 11am at Faith Evangelical Bible Church, Winkler with burial at Westridge Memorial Gardens.
