It is with a mixture of sorrow and rejoicing that we announce that Eileen Patricia Warthe is home in the presence of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. She entered His presence February 21st, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer.

Peacefully, on Friday, February 9th, 2024, Donald “Keith” Young passed away at his residence at the Douglas Campbell Lodge in Portage la Prairie, MB.

Keith liked to go to Tim's for his morning coffee, that’s what he called it. Keith liked to go cut the grass and shovel snow, and sometimes people got Keith to help them out, and he would say, “I’d be glad to help you, and clean out your driveway when it needs to be done.” Keith liked to go on walks and ride his bike.

Peacefully, on January 16th, 2024, Clarene Ethel Thurston passed away at the age of 83, at the Portage District General Hospital with family by her side. 

The Family of Donald Norval Lee, born April 18th 1933, sadly announces his passing on January 13th of 2024. 

Don is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Virginia, sons Terry, Jason and wife Connie. Grandchildren Thomas Lee, Jett Lee, Skye Bedford, Cassandra Lee and Jaxson Lee. Don is also survived by Karen Ingram, (sister) and husband Ken Ingram and David Lee, (brother). 

Robert “Robbie / Bob” Earl PAYNE

1957 - 2023

After a lengthy illness with diabetes and a short battle with cancer, Bob passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Portage & District General Hospital with family by his side.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Paulette Leslie on November 27th, 2023 at the age of 69 after a lengthy battle with MS and COPD. 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Margaret Woodward (Crews) of Portage La Prairie, who went to be with Jesus in the early morning hours Wednesday, December 20th at the age of 96.  

Peacefully, with family by his side, Gregory Wayne Forsythe passed away on September 30, 2023 at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 67 years.

Greg was born in Portage la Prairie, MB on August 9, 1956 to Harry and Frances Forsythe. Greg grew up with one brother, Doug and two sisters, Linda and Janice. Greg attended Victoria School, Prince Charles School, and Portage Collegiate Institute. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets and then joined the Primary Reserve until 1975.
