The southeast could see a bit of weather tonight which would bring some rain and warmth into what has been a chilly fall week.
A Colorado low is on the horizon, bringing the usual precipitation and warmer air that's usually associated with heavy, wet snow in the winter.
This system will spare the southeast from the worst, explains Environment Canada Meteorologist Danielle Desjardins.

Scam in the southeast: RCMP warning residents of fake gold jewellery scams
The Saskatchewan RCMP is warning people of gold jewellery scams in the province, with a recent occurrence here in the southeast.
On September 13 at around 2:45 p.m., the Carlyle RCMP received a report of fraud. An investigation into the matter found that a motorist approached another motorist near Highway 13, asking them for gas money. That motorist then offered them a gold ring in exchange for more money.
