JOHN JAMES SELINGER

November 17th, 1948 – April 22nd, 2024

John James Selinger passed away peacefully at the Moose Jaw Extendicare on Monday, April 22nd, 2024, at the age of 75 years.

Don’t cry for me now, I have died,

for I’m still here, I’m by your side.

My body’s gone but my soul is here,

please don’t shed another tear.

I am still here, I’m all around,

only my body lies in the ground.

SHENHER

Henry Robert John Shenher, devoted husband, father, family member and friend, passed away in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on Monday, April 22nd, 2024, at the age of 86 years.  Henry was born in Viceroy, Saskatchewan on June 2nd, 1937.  He was the youngest of four children.  On October 29th, 1967, Henry married Bernadette (née: Nimegeers) with whom he had two children. 

ANDERSON

Mark Lewis Anderson was born the middle son of Rolf and Glada Anderson on May 21st, 1949.  He was not interested in sports but found his interests in friends and cars. The 1967 Cutlass Oldsmobile became his favourite.

FINDLAY

It is with great sadness the family of Wendy Findlay announce her passing on Monday, April 22nd, 2024, surrounded by her family, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer at the age of 71 years.

She was predeceased by her parents Florence and Clifford.  Wendy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 51 years, Gord; children, James (Amanda) and Tammy (Chris); sibling, Jo (Barry); grandchildren: Brandon (Jessica), Logan, Landon, Katlyn, Alaina, and Hayden; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Thomas Frank Shopa aged 78 years of Chaplin, SK, passed away on Thursday, November 30th, 2023.  A graveside service for Tom will be held on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery with a time of fellowship to follow at the Central Butte Senior Center.

ANDERSON

With deep sadness, but grateful for all the time we had with her, the family of Loraine Anderson announces her passing on Friday, April 5th, 2024, in Moose Jaw, SK at the age of 97 years.

She was predeceased by her husband of 71 years, Elmer; parents, Oscar and Ruby Haraldson; and brothers, Norman and Raymond.  Loraine is survived by her children: Barry (Sandra), Brent (Shelly), and Sharrie (Jerry); grandchildren, Lisa and Erin (JD); great-grandchildren: Makayla, Kallum, Alexis and Owen; several nieces and nephew; and her dear cat, Blacky.

Lyman Earl Reed Jr. “Lefty,” aged 92 years of Caronport, SK, passed peacefully into the presence of his Saviour at his home on Sunday, April 7th, 2024.    

He was predeceased by his first wife, Jean; parents, Lyman Sr. and Ethel; brother, William; infant son, Kenneth; and son, Donald.  Lefty is survived by his wife, Dorothy; sons, Leonard (Mary), Ronald (Elizabeth), and Benjamin (Marlene); 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
