It is with great sorrow that the family of WILLIAM (BILL) JAMES FANCOURT of Okotoks AB, formerly of Assiniboia SK, announce his sudden passing at the age of 78. His tragic passing occurred while swimming in Mexico on April 1, 2023.

With much sadness and love, the family of Craig Wutke announced his passing on March 26, 2023 after a 13-month courageous battle with cancer.

Marian Helen Veeder (nee Boire) aged 81 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away Friday, March 24th, 2023. Marian was born in Lampman, SK on Sept 14, 1941, to Cecile and Joseph Boire (both deceased). She attended St. Joseph's Convent and Academy in Forget, SK from age four until grade 11. She completed her grade 12 at Benson High School. In 1964, Marian graduated as Register Psychiatric Nurse. Marian met and married her late husband Joe in December of 1972.

Heaven gained an angel in Justina (Justine) Neigel Nee: Ibach who passed peacefully on March 18, 2023 at her home in Moose Jaw. Justina was 88 years old.  

Born Apr 15, 1934 in Fox Valley, SK, Justina moved to Acadia Valley in her teens where she continued to live with her husband William Neigel after they wed in 1953. They were married for 47 years until Bill’s passing on November 6, 2000. They were parents of 11 children. Throughout their marriage, they also lived in Brooks, Duchess, and Brock before settling into their forever home in Moose Jaw in 1967. 

With much sadness and love, the families of Yvonne Doreen Hiebert announce her peaceful passing at Providence Place, Moose Jaw on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the age of 83 years.  She was surrounded by her loving children, grandchildren, and the team of compassionate caregivers on the St. Anthony ward.

Harold Gerwautz of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Tuesday March 7, 2023. Harold will be sadly missed by his children, grandchildren, and sister. At Harold’s request no funeral service will be held. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Derrek “Fife” Kozachuk of Moose Jaw, SK on February 21st, 2023, at the age of 45 years.  Derrek will be lovingly remembered by his wife JoLynn; daughters Taylen and Kelbie; mother Vladia Kozachuk (Wladyslawa Szychowski); brother Christopher (Lisa) Kozachuk and their son Alex; brother Meshel (Kerry) Kozachuk and their children Hannah, Katherine, and Jacob; sister Rosann Verhaeghe (Andy) Kozachuk and their children Elizabeth and Olivia; brother-in-law Jamie (Sherri) Stefan and their children Samantha and Brooke.

The family of Joan Eva McNab is sad to announce her passing on Monday February 20, 2023. Joan is predeceased by her husband James; brother John; grandson Cody; and great-grandchild Alexa. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Bill, Nina, Ken, Susan, and Lynne; grandchildren Tanya, Jesse, Melissa, Tessa, Jason, and Justin; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings Wes, Betty, Phyllis, Lorna, and Bill. Joan will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

With much sadness and love, the family of Glennis Joan Mitchell announce her peaceful passing with family by her side Thursday, February 23rd, 2023, aged 70. Glennis will be fondly remembered by husband Rob of 48 years, daughters Kathy (Ray), Sheri (Darren), granddaughters Stephanie, Fawne (Zach), Paige (Jake), Jessica (Darin), great grandchildren Junie, Alex, Grace, Mabel, grand cats, and brother Glenn. Glennis is predeceased by very beloved mother Myrtle, father Len, and numerous aunts and uncles.

It is with great sadness that the family of Inez Hutchinson announce her passing in hospital on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the age of 97. Inez was born May 5, 1925, in Saskatoon, SK to Arthur and Mabel Smales.
