Ground Squirrels make their debut tonight

Introducing the Speedy Creek Ground Squirrels.

The Swift Current 57's are stepping aside for one night and being re-branded for their game against Medicine Hat.

The name is a result of a one-night-only rebranding vote.

They will have special edition merchandise on sale and a player jersey auction right after the game.

The Ground Squirrels will take on a Medicine Hat team the 57's played three times in their last four games.

The Mavericks are on a seven-game winning streak.
