Local products face adversity in WHL playoffs

A tough night for Swift Current products in the WHL.

Anthony Wilson scored, but his Lethbridge Hurricanes fell 5-3 to the Medicine Hat Tigers and lost the Eastern Conference final 4-0.

That means the season is over for the Swift Current native.

Wilson had 18 points in 56 games between Lethbridge and Regina. He added 4 in 15 playoff games.

Former Bronco Mathew Ward scored twice for the Tigers in the win.
