In Loving Memory of Darren Anthony Gayton

Darren was born on November 22, 1975 in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia.  He grew up and lived in the Springhill and Tatamagouche area for many years before venturing west.  He worked in Kindersley in 2007 for a brief period, before permanently moving to the area in 2014.

Many people in Kindersley remember Darren from his years working at the Kindersley Inn and Boston Pizza.  He is fondly remembered as being the guy that could talk to anyone, had a fun-loving spirit, and a huge heart.

1939 ~ 2022 (age 83)

It is with profound sadness the family of Mervyn Carpendale announce his passing on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 at the age of 83. 

Beloved husband of Sharon Carpendale. Loving father of Murray (Penny) Carpendale, Trevor LaChance, Rene LaChance, and Myles LaChance.

Donations in Mervyn's memory may be made to the Coleville Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion or Heritage Manor Auxillary with directions on how to donate located below.

A memorial service for Mervyn will be held in the spring.

Donald Gerhart Henry Loehr
July 13, 1934 – December 5, 2022

Don passed away peacefully with family at his side Monday December 5th. He was 88 years old and lived every day of his life to the fullest.

Don was born July 13th, 1934 in Muenster Saskatchewan to Bernard and Bertha Loehr. He grew up on the family farm, with his 4 sisters, leaving to attend the University of Saskatchewan where he obtained a Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Don left Saskatchewan and moved to British Columbia in 1963 to work for MacMillan Bloedel Forest Company.

September 16, 1937 – December 14, 2022

Harland Schmidt
October 31, 1938 - December 12, 2022

Harland James Schmidt was born to Adolph and Edith (nee Myatt) Schmidt on October 31, 1938, in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. He grew up on the family farm south of Carmel, SK, and attended Golden Acre School which was located on the home quarter. After completing his education, he continued to help on the farm, and also worked as a rural lineman for the Golden Acre Telephone Co.

Mrs. Nora Meissner, beloved wife of Ray, resident of North Battleford, SK passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 at the Battlefords Union Hospital at the age of 76 years. As per Nora’s wishes no formal service will be held at this time. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Vanessa Macnab of Eternal Memories Funeral Service and Crematorium.

Arlene Elizabeth (née Harvey) Kish

Valerie Lita Hinz
July 30, 1956 – December 5, 2022

Valerie Lita Hinz, of Saskatoon, age 66, passed away on Monday December 5, 2022 at St. Paul’s Hospital.

Valerie was born on July 30, 1956 to Dorothy and Lewellyn Hinz, in Humboldt, SK. Valerie started school at St. Francis country school then moved to Muenster school where she continued through to complete high school. She attended University at St. Peter's College in Muenster for her first year of university then the University of Saskatchewan for her second year where she studied fine arts.

1938 ~ 2022 (age 84)

In loving memory of Irene Pocock who passed away on December 5th 2022 at the age of 84 years.
Beloved wife of the late Ron Pocock, mother of Wray Pocock, and Leonard (Lindsay) Pocock. Grandmother of Colby( Kennedy), Logan (Dara), Brittany (Kyle) and great grandmother of Colton, Damian, Spencer, Skylar, Brody, Hayden and Jessey (Jacklyn).

A memorial service for Irene will be held Tuesday December 13th, at 2:00 P.M. with information on the service located below.
