Patersons’ lawyers take pride in helpful advocacy
Shea Peplinskie knows first-hand what it’s like to need an advocate. Even before she became a lawyer, she often had to be one – even for herself.
Growing up in a strict religious community in Ontario, she was often fascinated by how people would conform to or get around rules, or even bend the rules to work within a certain lifestyle. In her own situation, she ended up having to stand up for herself.
Invest in your community: hire a LOCAL realtor
Though representing different realty offices, three local realtors are united in their deep knowledge of, and support for, Portage and Central Plains.
Rhonda Lodwick from Century 21 Foxx Realty, Warren Neufeld from Royal LePage Portage Realty, and Peter Bracken from RE/MAX Valleyview Realty agree that their strongest advantage is what aligns them – their roots in their home community.

If you’ve ever had to call a tow truck, chances are it wasn’t because your drive was smooth and uninterrupted.

Sponsored: Anchor of Hope: Calloused Hands
I can remember sitting with my dad in church one Sunday in November, well over 35 years ago. I remember it was November because I was playing with the pin I had pulled out of the poppy I had found. As the preacher preached, I poked gently at the callouses on my hands, pulling up pieces of dry hardened skin. Then I thought, “Dad’s hands have way more callouses than mine, I wonder how deep I can push the pin into his callouses?” Dad, who was intently listening to the pastor, ignored me as I started to gently poke at his hands, undisturbed because of the hardened surface of his hands.
