Missing man from Westman safely located: RCMP
Mounties in western Manitoba say that a man who hadn't been heard from in over a month has been safely located.
The Minnedosa RCMP says that they received a report of a missing male from the RM of Glenella-Lansdowne the morning of January 6, 2024.
According to the report, the man was last seen at a residence on Highway 16 in the municipality on November 27, 2023. The RCMP says that he was in contact with a family member, but he has not been heard from since.
On Friday, January 12, 2024, the RCMP sent out a release saying the man had been found.

Estevan city councillor Travis Frank announced Friday that he will not be seeking another term in the November 2024 municipal election.

Now, as my wife and I shift our focus to growing our respective businesses and our family, I have decided that it is time to let someone new take my seat with fresh new ideas to help move Estevan forward,” he wrote in a news release.
Truck stolen from Weyburn found in Fillmore; pair charged with firearms offences
Two Fillmore residents are facing charges after a vehicle that was stolen from Weyburn was located with a firearm.
The Weyburn RCMP investigated the report of the stolen vehicle, which allegedly happened between December 4 and 22.
Police found the vehicle at a residence in Fillmore, which contained a firearm.
35-year-old Curtis Armstrong and 32-year-old Cherrena Bryer were arrested at the scene and charged with the following offences:
