The Brons Family
April 6, 2018, will be a day we all remember.
Looking back five years ago until now we are all at different places in life.
I had the opportunity to chat with Carol Brons, mother of Danya Brons, who was one of the individuals who passed away in the Bronco accident.
After losing your daughter in the accident how did you and your family journey through the grief and process the accident? What moments might stick out more than others. Did staying in contact with the others impacted help your journey? What else was helpful?
Sticks out as we remember
Five years ago, the world stopped as news spread of the Humboldt Bronco bus accident.
We remember them today and always.
Sticks out for the Humboldt Broncos.

"A wave of hope": Regina transplant recipient redesigns Green Shirt Day
Each year, April 7 is acknowledged as Green Shirt Day across Canada. It’s a day to draw attention to organ donation, inspired by the generosity of Logan Boulet and the Boulet family, father Toby, mother Bernadine, and sister Mariko, in the wake of the Humboldt Broncos bus tragedy. This year marks the fifth for the tragedy and the subsequent Green Shirt initiative, and the gear has undergone a logo refresh thanks to the Boulets and a woman from Regina with a remarkable connection.
