A man 28-year-old man charged with attempted murder had his court case adjourned to Dec. 12.

Joshua Adams appeared in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Tuesday via telephone. He was joined by lawyer Michelle Carrigan on the phone as agent for defence lawyer Andrea Urquhart.

Carrigan asked Judge David Chow for the adjournment to give Urquhart more time to review disclosure and get instructions from Adams.

Federal Crown prosecutor Suzanne Young and provincial Crown prosecutor Rob Parker agreed to the adjournment.

Adams was charged with attempted murder following an alleged home invasion on Sept. 13. Gill Perreault was also charged with attempted murder stemming from the same incident.

The Moose Jaw Police Service executed a search warrant the following day and Adams was additionally charged with failing to comply with several release conditions, possession of proceeds obtained by crime, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking.
