A win from the Dinsmore Dynamos over the weekend in Sask Valley Hockey League play caused for some fun online.
Earlier in the week a Wednesday night matchup between the Davidson Cyclones and Kenaston Blizzards helped decide the #1 senior hockey team in the latest rankings from the popular podcast Monday Nooner. Davidson beat Kenaston 6-4, leading the podcast to name the Cyclones as the provinces top team headed into the weekend.
That online banter may have inspired the Dynamos headed into Saturday night's matchup. Dinsmore pulled away after a back-and-forth first period finished 3-2 for the Dynamos. Both Chad Westman and Brayden Camrud pick-up four points, and goaltender Declan Hobbs stifling the opposing offense stopping 36 of 38 shots.
