Wadena Fire Department responds to semi rollover
Around noon on Monday, March 6, The Wadena Fire Department received a call about a semi rollover.
Upon arrival, the crew assisted the driver from the vehicle. The driver was then checked over by paramedics with no injuries.

Hunter Edwards picks up Jacob Wassermann Leadership Award
Humboldt Broncos U18 goalie Hunter Edwards was given the nod for this year’s Jacob Wassermann Leadership Award. The award was presented by former Humboldt Broncos goaltender Jacob Wasserman to the 16 year old goalie in recognition of hard work toward his goals, and community and team leadership.

Statistics Canada explains possible causes of food inflation
As prices soared at the grocery store over the past year, many Saskatchewan residents might be left wondering about some of the causes.
Denam Drew, Economist with Consumer Prices Division with Statistics Canada, said that in Saskatchewan, some of the highest year-over-year percent price changes we've seen are in regards to edible fats and oils, which includes cooking oils and olive oils.

HDHF Equip to Care Radiothon raises over $73,000
It was a busy few days at the Humboldt and District Hospital for the Humboldt and District Hospital Foundation’s Equip to Care Radiothon.
The week kicked off on March 27, and went through until March 30, 2023, raising funds for various pieces of equipment for the hospital.
