Cram a RCMP cruiser this weekend

Tis the Season for Giving! 

Grande Prairie RCMP will be participating in a food drive this weekend to collect non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army Grande Prairie Community and Family Services.

Detachment members and staff will be on site with a police cruiser at these locations:

• FreshCo (9844 92 St.) on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Save-On-Foods (10819 106 Ave.) on Sunday, December 17, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This year’s wishlist includes:

• baby food, formula and essentials;
• baking supplies;
• canned food items such as beans, soups, pasta, meats, fruits and vegetables;
• condiments/oils/spices;
• boxed meals, such as Hamburger Helper, macaroni and cheese;
• instant stuffing; and
• hygiene products such as body wash, deodorant, toothbrushes and toilet paper.

Grande Prairie RCMP hopes to see many members of the public and thanks everyone in advance for their generosity and willingness to help those in need this holiday season.
