Looks like some long-awaited snow is in the forecast for the Peace Country. 

Periods of snow are expected to begin after midnight, around 2 cm is anticipated overnight. Tomorrow, periods of snow as well with about 2 to 4 cm throughout the day and into the evening hours.  

Dawson Creek area is also expecting flurries to begin tonight with about 2 cm of snow. Tomorrow, around 5 cm of snow is forecasted with only a 30% chance by tomorrow evening. 

Snow beginning near midnight in Fort St. John with 2 cm expected near the Rockies. Tomorrow, residents could see between 2 to 4 cm before it starts to taper off. Only a 30% chance of flurries tomorrow night.
