Fiddler, Norman Robert of Webb, Saskatchewan passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Clover House.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Norman is survived by his wife Gayle Fiddler; son Lorne (Kim) Fiddler; daughter Tara (Jeff) Sagen; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother Dennis Fiddler; sister-in-law Cheryl Fiddler; nephew Darren (Lois) Fiddler; niece Nicole (Rob) Sanson and families.  He was predeceased by his parents William (Bill) and Jeanne Fiddler.   Norman was born on July 11, 1939 at Gull Lake, Saskatchewan and attended Clairbank School, grades 1 – 8, Swift Current Comprehensive 9 – 12 (1957).  He continued on to take one year of university in Saskatoon in the school of agriculture.  The following summer he worked as a rod man surveying grid roads.  After that he started farming with his dad.  In August of 1962, He married Gayle (Montgomery) in Gull Lake.  They continued farming and raising their family on the farm.  He enjoyed belonging to Co-op, Credit Union, NFU boards.  He also taught woodworking for 4-H for a few years.  In the early 1980’s he helped bring natural gas to the farm area by travelling around signing up people.  Norman enjoyed working in his shop welding, fixing, improving – inventing new ways to make things work better.  He’ll be remembered for his ability to strike a conversation with anyone.  He loved to visit and had quite a sense of humor.  Thank you to all that came to visit while at Cypress Regional Hospital, Willow Creek Manor, and Clover House.  Thanks to the staff for his special care, and the home care staff.  Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Warren's Funeral Home.  For further information please call 1-306-773-8831 or 1-800-267-6606, or visit our website at www.warrensfuneralhome.com and express your sympathy to family members on the tribute wall.
