Mrs. Leona Orlanda Nein (nee Buhr) passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan at the age of 88. Leona left us peacefully in her sleep with her loving husband of 62 years, Ed, at her side. She was born on September 18, 1936 in Herbert, Saskatchewan, twin to Leander. Mom will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

We express our gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Cypress House, where Leona lived in recent years. At Leona’s request, no formal service will be held.

The memorial service for the late Mrs. Patricia “Pat” Carlson of Ponteix, Saskatchewan will be taking place on Friday March 21, 2025 at 11:00 am from Notre Dame d’Auvergne Roman Catholic Church in Ponteix, Saskatchewan with Pastor Travis Heide officiating .

The memorial service for Miss Jordon Merrick-Maddex of Swift Current, Saskatchewan will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Snyder officiating.

Following the service, everyone is invited to join the family for refreshments in the multipurpose room at the church until 4:00 p.m.

Brian Kantrud passed away at the Cypress Regional Hospital on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 with his wife, Delores by his side. At Brian’s request, no formal service will be held at this time.

Brian is survived by his wife Delores; children: Ryan (Tanya) and family, Emery (Kim) and family; sister Susan (Clarke) and family; and many great nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

It is with great sadness that the family of Mr. Burton Clifton announce his passing on March 5, 2025 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Service details will be announced at a later date.

Huculak, Don, 71, of Swift Current, passed away peacefully after a brief illness March 1, 2025. Don is survived by his sons Scean Clandening (Sheena Francis), Jeremy Huculak, and his daughter Laina Wightman (Mike); grandchildren Carter Clandening (Mackenzie Roberts), Allison Wightman and Madelyn Wightman; brother Murray Huculak (Kathy); brothers-in-law Russel Duncombe (Margaret), Reg Duncombe (Lynda), Wayne Duncombe, and Bryan Duncombe (Marci); and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Mr. Rene Arthur Perrault of Val Marie, Saskatchewan passed away on February 5, 2025 at the age of 88, at Foyer St. Joseph Nursing Home in Ponteix, Saskatchewan.

Rene is survived by his wife, five sons, nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.

A celebration of life will be taking place at a later date.

In Loving memory of Delphin “Del” Poff – September 2, 1939 – February 19, 2025.

Del passed away peacefully in the ICU of the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Del was a wonderful, kind man who loved to play his banjo, and always had a joke to tell. He will be missed by many relatives and friends, but most of all he will be missed by his immediate family. Family gatherings won’t be the same without a Papa Delio JOKE!

The family of Mrs. Gisele St. Cyr of Ponteix, Saskatchewan are saddened to announce her passing on Friday, February 21, 2025.

Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. from the Notre Dame d’Auvergne Roman Catholic Church in Ponteix.

The memorial mass will take place on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the Notre Dame d’Auvergne Roman Catholic Church in Ponteix with Father Jules Adator officiating.

The family of Pius Wagner sadly announce his passing on Thursday, February 12, 2025 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Velva Wagner, father of Rene (Brenda) Wagner, Darlene (Mike) Jorgenson, Calvin (Gwen) Wagner. He was also a greatly beloved grandfather of 8 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. There will be a funeral service held at a later date.
