Highways around Airdrie are slippery and slushy after a snowfall on Friday.

The QEII Southbound towards Calgary city limits has been reported to have icy section, icy wheel paths as well as shoulder ice and snow. North of Airdrie heading towards Crossfield and Carstairs, similar conditions have been observed.
Environment and Climate Change Canada has forecasted that the snow will be ending this morning, but motorists are asked to drive to the conditions.
