Mr. Darcy Vangen passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2023. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery, Swift Current, SK.
Darcy was born on November 10, 1964 in Herbert, SK. He was a cuddly, loving little boy, full of smiles, mischief and never sat still. His many interest included shooting the windows out of his grandfather’s Quonset, riding bikes, snowmobiling, horses & Motocross. His greatest love was cars and he was a talented artist, drawing imaginary people, vehicles and real portraits.
Darcy was predeceased by his grandparents and his father Raymond. He is survived by his mother Cheryl; brother Blake (Tracy) Nassau; sister Jacqueline (Brian); aunt Donna Ashton, Sheila Robatzek; cousins Renee (Elmer) Funk, Tracy (Barry) , Troy & Michael Robatzek; his son Dexter Stangland, Alexis Vangen (Isaac) & Micheal Vangen and also by grandchildren Chloe & Jaxon Stangland, Alayna Vangen and nephews Bobby, Randy ( daughter Prudence) & Brandon ( daughter Aleigha).
