Dale Oscar Vossen, born on August 3, 1959, in Regina, SK, passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2023. A devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, Dale touched the lives of those around him with his big heart and unwavering love.
He is survived by his wife Kim Vossen, son Evan (Rachel) Vossen, daughter Kelcie Vossen, and his adored grandchildren, Alexis and Connor Vossen. Dale's love and support will forever resonate within his family.
He leaves behind his siblings: sisters Debbie (Bev) Gardiner, Bev (Don) Klatt; brother Bernie (Maureen) Vossen; in-laws Gerald and Myrt Smith, sister-in-law Kelly (Bob) Huck, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dale is now reunited with his parents Oscar and Lillian; nephew Tyler; and brother-in-law Dean who preceded him in death. The legacy of Dale's love and the impact of his presence will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Dale was larger than life. His family, friends, and players knew he was a man of great character. His family was always his first priority, but those that truly knew Dale, know that they could find him at a rink on any given night. His involvement in the game of hockey spanned over 40 years as a coach, scout, and fan. Though he was a man of great character, Dale’s heart and compassion truly set him apart.
A celebration of Dale’s life will be held on January 13, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Golf Course in Swift Current, SK. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to KidSport Swift Current, Box 1994, Swift Current, SK S9H 4M7.
