An attempted murder case was adjourned to Jan. 22 during Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Tuesday.
Joshua Adams, 28, appeared via video from remand, while his lawyer Andrea Urquhart appeared via telephone.
Urquhart told Judge David Chow that she had been in conversation with the federal Crown prosecutor for trial estimates and asked for an adjournment of a couple of weeks to coordinate trial dates with the federal and provincial Crown prosecutors.
Chow granted an adjournment to Jan. 22 when it is expected that trial dates will be set.
Adams is charged with attempted murder following an alleged home invasion in Moose Jaw on Sept. 13, 2023.
The Moose Jaw Police Service executed a search warrant on Sept. 14, and Adams was additionally charged with failing to comply with several release conditions, possession of proceeds obtained by crime, possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking and possession of fentanyl for the purposes of trafficking.
