The water has been officially turned back on in Luseland. Because of the length of time without water, the Town will be under a Boil Water Advisory until January 23 when they will reassess.
In class learning will also resume at the Luseland School Friday, January 19.
2ND UPDATE: 3:00 pm Thursday, January 18
The Town of Luseland has shared via social media this update:
"The town crew is filling the water lines as we speak and will be doing a pressure test soon. If the fix went the way we are hoping, we should receive an update from them by 4pm. As soon as we know, you all will know if the water is back on."
They went on to say," please be patient, as we are all in the same boat together, and the Town Crew is working as hard and as fast as they can in the cold."
The Luseland School also shared via social media at 4:30 pm, "we are so happy with the prospect of school being on tomorrow! Division will send a confirmation by text/email around 7pm again tonight."
UPDATE: 12:00 pm Thursday, January 18
The Town of Luseland shared via social media they are working on the ongoing water main line break and have the old water treatment plant open for anyone who needs to fill jugs of water for flushing toilets. They are hoping for services to be resumed sometime Thursday afternoon. West Central Online will have more ongoing repairs as soon as they become available.

The Town of Luseland is without water tonight due to a break in a line which has yet to be found. Residents and businesses have been notified by the Town which says crews working on the issue have yet to find the exact spot of the break and cannot continue digging because of diminishing daylight.
In a post via the Town of Luseland Facebook page, officials posted the following describing the inconvenience.
