Grade eight students at George Freeman School will be participating in an Entrepreneurship Market and Movie Night on January 30.
Students were tasked with the responsibility of creating a food and beverage business to sell at the market, and 100% of all proceeds will support local charities such as Wheatland County Food Bank, True North, Strathmore Legion, and Strathmore Overnight Shelter.
Foods such as Ice Cream Floats, Beef Jerky, Popcorn, Hot Dogs, Meatball Subs, and lots more will be available to purchase.
“Thank you to George Freeman School, Grade 8 teacher Zane Anderson, for this incredible program that you've built for our youth to experience. We can’t thank you enough for the opportunity to be part of the support, along with other local businesses," sponsor Baldwin BBQ & Catering said in a Facebook post.
The Entrepreneurship Market will take place from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on January 30 at George Freeman School.
