A man charged with attempted murder will have to wait a bit longer to get a bail hearing.
Kyle Peeace appeared in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Thursday via video along with his lawyer Nick Brown via telephone.
The appearance was scheduled to be a show cause hearing. However, Brown told the court they could not run the hearing because more information was needed. He asked for an adjournment to Feb. 22.
There were no objections from Crown Prosecutor Monique Paquin and the adjournment was granted by Judge David Chow.
Kyle is charged with attempted murder following an alleged machete attack in downtown Moose Jaw on Sept. 28. He is co-accused with his brother Dillon Peeace.
Dillon’s next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 28.
